Assalaamualaykum wa rahmatullahi wa barakatuhuh:
"Say (O Muhammad): Who has forbidden the beautiful gifts of Allah which He has produced for His servants, and the things, clean and pure which He has provided for sustenance? Say: They are, in the life of this world for those who have faith, and solely for them on the Day of Judgement. Thus do We explain the signs in detail for the benefit of those who like to know?" (7:32)
Eid-ul-Fitr
The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him) said:
"When I came upon you, you had two days that you continued to celebrate from the Jaahiliyyah; indeed Allaah has substituted them for you with what is better: the day of Sacrifice and the day of Fitr. (Abu Dawud)
EID-UL-FITR is celebrated on the first day of Shaw'waal, the 10th month of the Islamic calendar.
The Prophet Muhammad (Allah bless him and give him peace) said,
"Whoever fasts the month of Ramadan out of faith, seeking its reward, shall have all their past sins forgiven." (Bukhari)
